A high level delegation of Turkish steel exporters will visit Pakistan early next month to hold meetings with the government officials, private sector commercial importers and industrial users of steel in Pakistan. Members of the delegation, representing 12 Turkish steel manufacturers and exporters will be led by Namik Ekinci, Chairman, Board of Directots, Turkey Steel Exporters' Association.
Turkish companies would offer a wide range of flat and long steel products to Pakistani buyers, including HR/CR coils, diamond and tear drop pattern plates, wire rods, billets, beams, bars, hollow sections, tubes, pipes and other steel products. "Turkey and Pakistan have enjoyed extremely close relations at the political and cultural level for decades, but for some reasons, bilateral trade between the two countries is quite modest," Namik Ekinci remarked. "We aim to improve trade between Turkey and Pakistan and will be going the extra mile to serve the needs of Pakistani steel importers and end users, as we believe we can compete with any other sources," he said.-PR
