Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) has urged Karachi Electric Supply Company's (KESC) management not to disconnect power supply to Karachi Water and Sewerage Board's pumping stations as it would create chaos in the city. Chairman PTA M. Khurshid Ahmed urged Managing Director KESC not to take any extreme step against KWSB due to issue of circular debt, which should be resolved amicably by the two utilities.
"Water is essential need for the human beings as no one can live without water," Khurshid said, adding that power supply to pumping stations should not be stopped in any case. He appealed to Governor Sindh to mediate and get the issue resolved between the two organisations-PR
