A hoax bomb call created panic in a cellphone company's office, located in the limits of Ferozabad police station, here on Tuesday. According to SHO Ijaz Khwaja, an unknown caller warned the staff that a bomb was planted in the office that led to suspension of all activities there.
The SHO said that after receiving the information, the officials of bomb disposal squad, volunteers of rescue organisations and police rushed to the spot for search operation. After thorough search, the office was cleared and the call was declared as hoax, he added.
