A launching ceremony of Dr Mirza Arshad Ali's book: "Life Processes, Health, Aging and Disease" and his lecture on the subject of "Oxidative Dehydration and Reductive Rehydration" was held yesterday under the aegis of Faculty of Eastern Medicine, Hamdard University at Bait al-Hikmah auditorium, Madinat al-Hikmah, Karachi.
Mrs Sadia Rashid, President, Hamdard Foundation Pakistan and chief guest of launching ceremony inaugurated the book of Dr Mirza Arshad Ali Beg. While delivering his lecture, Dr Mirza Arshad Ali Beg, a scientist and former director general of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Pakistan said that under genetic engineering the process of genetic modification had been causing great damages to human health, resulting big increase in patients of those diseases which were seemed minimum in the past.
'The credit of this book goes to Hakim Said who initiated me on the subject of life processes, health and disease and I much acknowledge that the 'Oxidative Dehydration Theory and Reductive Rehydration therapy has been developed by me in response to Hakim Said, who wished to suggest a mechanism of medication involved in the systems of allopathic and Unani in the light of human temperament (Mizaj) as he asked me what your Chemistry says about 'mizaj', he said, adding: 'So that I dedicated this book to Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said'. Referring to Quranic Verses, Dr Beg said that everything seen and unseen was ordered and regulated through the governance system of Allah based on His eternal laws.-PR
