Governor Punjab Latif Khosa has criticised those not voted Aslam Gill for PPP candidate for Senate in Punjab Assembly and said that they have betrayed Benzir Bhutto. He said that PPP has started inquiry and turncoats would be dealt with accordingly. He has also urged the Chief Justice to take notice of those who have changed the mandate.
The PML-N law minister blamed the PPP leadership for making Aslam Gill as scapegoat. Meanwhile, the PPP sources said loyalty of six party MPAs including Ra'na Rizvi, Samina Naheed, Rana Babar, Nishat Daha, Javed Alauddin and Abdul Rehman is being doubted. They said these MPAs are from the Naheed Khan group and a few of them are also in contact with the PMLN. Sources also said that some party members were not happy with MNAs from their respective constituencies.
