Unknown robbers on Monday shot at and killed police official and injured another in Notal area of Naseerabad. According to police, Sub Inspector Badar Shah and Deedar Shah were way to Dera Murad Jamali from Chattar PS when unidentified armed robbers on gunpoint stopped them and tried to snatch the motorbike.
The robbers opened fire when police personnel offered resistance to their robbery bid. Resultantly, Badar shah died on the spot and Deedar Shah got injured. Robbers took away motorcycle and weapons and fled.
