The Ph.D degree holders working in medical colleges of Punjab have called immediate attention of the Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif to release much awaited Science and Technology Allowance to decrease their financial woes.
According to details, 'Science and Technology Allowance/ Ph.D Allowance' has been paid to the Ph.D degree holders all over the country but Punjab Health department is not paying any heed to grant the allowance, duly approved by the provincial finance department , despite many requests.
A group of PhD degree holder disclosed on Sunday that no tangible progress was made by the concerned authorities to redress the grievance of highly educated community, serving in medical colleges of the Punjab. They have sought immediate intervention of the Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif order immediate removal of grievance.
