Pakistan Day has been celebrated on Friday with traditional zeal and enthusiasm to commemorate the passage of the Lahore Resolution, later called the Pakistan Resolution, which eventually led to the creation of Pakistan.
Pakistan Muslim League-N organised a number of meetings where cakes were cut by the local member National Assembly Rana Mehmood-ul-Hassan, Senator, Malik Rafiq Rajwana advocate, Sheikh Tariq Rasheed, Mian Abdul Waheed Arain, MPA, Bilal Butt, District President, Shahid Mukhtar Lodhi SVP, Haji Sheikh Athar Mumtaz, General Secretary, Rana Shahid-ul-Hassan, Imran Liaquat. The national flag has hoisted on important public and private buildings throughout the region and educational institutions.
