51st National Basketball Championship will begin on Saturday under the aegis of Wapda Sports Board at Sports Complex. The 8-day National Championship being sponsored by Wapda has been dedicated to the strategically important Neelum-Jehlum Hydropower Project by the National Basketball Federation.
The teams from Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhthunkwha and Sindh, the Federal Capital Islamabad and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) and leading departments vis HBL, PAF, Pakistan Army and Wapda are participating in the event. Finals of the championship will be played on March 31.
