KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 24,749.24 points with a positive change of 71.05 and volume of 205,125,500 shares. High and Low were 24,936.96 and 24,663.21 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 15 were up, 15 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 284,372,670 shares. Total companies traded were 375 of which 219 were positive, 131 were negative and 25 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 61,644,420 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 50,415,100 shares.
