Load-shedding, over-billing: PML-N to launch countrywide protest drive from March 31
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Monday announced countrywide protest drive against the prolonged load-shedding and over-billing. According to PML-N central media office, a series of protest demonstrations have been planned under which protest rallies would be held in four provincial capitals, ie, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar on March 31.
On April 02, similar rallies would be held in Abbottabad, Sialkot, Hyderabad and Sahiwal. While on April 03 protest rallies would be held in Multan, Qasoor, Shekhopura and D.G.Khan and on April 04 Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Karrak and Sargodha. While in Gujrat, Okara and D.G. Khan similar protest would be held on April 05 against the load shedding and over-billing. According to PML-N Secretary General Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, the government has made lives of the masses miserable with prolonged power outage and over-billing, which is unjustified.
