Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Ahmed Raza Tahir has said that peaceful protest is the right of every citizen; however those miscreants who will take law into their own hands and will damage public or private property/transport would be dealt with an iron hand.
He said that few misguided elements are damaging public and private property and endangering life while protesting against load shedding, but will not be tolerated at any cost. Ahmed Raza Tahir said special strict action will be taken against (danda) baton-wielding elements who are deliberately aiming at damaging public and private property and transport.
