The Punjab government is utilising all available resources to equip students with modern technology, said Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab, Begum Zakiya Shahnawaz. Addressing a function held to distribute laptops among the students of Fatima Jinnah Medical College (FJMC) on Monday, she further said that doctors were precious asset of the country, therefore, we will have to provide maximum opportunities to the youth particularly students.
She informed the students about the details of women package of Chief Minister Punjab. Later, she distributed laptops among 1194 students of Fatima Jinnah Medical College. A smartly turned out contingent of Punjab police presented guard of honour to the students. PML-N young leader Marvi Memon advised the students to make best use of their time.
MNA, Ayyaz Sadiq appreciated the role of Fatima Jinnah Medical College in providing medical education to students and suggested that the college should be promoted to university. Principal of Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Professor Dr Rakhshanda Rehman was also present.
