Young Leaders' Conference begins its 11th year and the dawn of a new decade, once more, changing lives for the better. The theme for this year is 'Dream-the unseen, Believe-the unknown, Achieve-the impossible'. Preparations are at their peak as the conference is just two months away.
As many as 300 youth, of ages between 18 and 24, from all over the country and other parts of the world will converge in Karachi to spread the dream of a new era. This year's champion, Urooj Imran, is leading the 11th YLC; assisted by passionate young facilitators specifically trained for the mega-event. Mentors for this team are Kamran Rizvi, the director of the School of Leadership (SoL); Shireen Naqvi, CEO, SoL; Saima Khan, COO, SoL.
"YLC is Pakistan's largest youth conference where more than 300 youth come together, discover their latent potential and opportunities and return to their communities to initiate practical change," states Urooj Imran. She adds: "I feel so lucky to have gotten the opportunity to the lead the biggest youth conference in Pakistan. I feel there is a lot of hidden potential in the youth that needs to be polished for them to develop into an invincible force of positive change. Every year, YLC comes with a new blend of learning and hope for youngsters."-PR
