Woman tries to set herself on fire

A woman was admitted to the Nishtar Hospital in a critical condition on Sunday after she tried to set herself on fire after a domestic dispute. Doctors said that 70 per cent of Nazia Bibi's body was covered in severe burn wounds.
Police said that Nazia Bibi, who had married Akhlaq Ahmad a year ago, had developed differences over domestic issues and were separated. They said that the woman had locked herself up in her room at her parent's house in the Shujabad area after entering into a bitter dispute on telephone with her husband.
