Hoax bomb call causes panic at Bahria university

A hoax bomb call has caused panic in Bahria University located in the limits of Shah Faisal police station on Wednesday. According to DSP Al-Faleh Shakeel Awan, following the hoax bomb call, the officials of bomb disposal squad, volunteers of rescue organisations and police rushed to the spot for search and rescue.
He said the call was received by the staff that led to suspend all activities at the office for sometime. Later, the rescue teams and bomb disposal squad declared it as hoax call after inspection. He said although the BDS had cleared the place, the Navy intelligence initiated its own investigation to ascertain the fact.
