A Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) delegation led by President PML-N Barcelona (Spain) Nazir Ahmad Gondal and Vice President PML-N UK Basit Hamza Butt called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Sunday.
During the meeting organisational matters of the party were discussed. Members of the delegation while appreciating the Daanish school system for providing modern educational facilities to the children of poor and hapless families said that it is a laudable step of Punjab government. The members of the delegation gave a cheque for Rs 8.5 lakh for Daanish Schools and announced that they will bear the educational expenses of five children of Daanish Schools on permanent basis.
Shahbaz Sharif while appreciating the spirit said that Punjab government has opened the doors of quality education for the children of poor families by setting up Daanish Schools.
