SINGAPORE/LONDON: Angola LNG sold an early February-loading cargo to a Chinese company, two traders said on Friday.
The cargo is for Feb 2-6 loading and the buyer was likely to have been CNOOC at $10.70-$11 per million British thermal units (mmBtu), one of the traders said, though this could not be confirmed with the companies.
The cargo was sold on a delivered ex-ship basis, meaning Angola LNG will deliver the cargo to a buyer, a third industry source said.
The vessel earmarked for the delivery is the Cubal
Angola LNG has also separately issued a tender for a March 6-13 cargo, traders said.
The tender is likely to be awarded on Feb. 12.
