Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that we will force the corrupt rulers with the power of the people to stop loadshedding as no one could stay before the power of the people so far and nor will stay now. He was addressing a public gathering while leading the protest procession against loadshedding in Kasur on Saturday. Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan also attended the public rally against load shedding.

He said that load shedding has caused a loss of five hundred billion rupees to Punjab, lakhs of people have become jobless, our fields are becoming barren and chimneys have stopped emitting smoke and we will hold the rulers accountable of the injustices being done to Punjab. He urged the people to make preparation of a final round for ridding Pakistan of Ali Baba 40 Thieves.
The Chief Minister said that modern air-conditioned buses, laptops scheme, Aashiyana housing project and other public welfare projects pinch to our opponents that is why Federal Government wants to snatch these facilities from the poor by creating confusion about these welfare projects so that no one could benefit from it. He said that Kasur-Lahore road was closed for the last five years and we have converted this tomb of corruption into minaret of development. That is why, the people of Kasur elected our candidate Malik Rasheed in by-election and they will also support Nawaz Sharif in next general elections, he added. He said that Kasur has been made a beautiful model city by completing all development projects based on public welfare in it whereas after the completion of Kasur-Lahore road, the travelling distance between the two cities will be reduced from one hour to only 20 minutes.
