Unidentified armed men gunned down a person on Qambrani road in the metropolis on Monday. When contacted police told APP those unknown gunmen riding bike opened fire at one Daroon Khan on Qambrani road in the Sariab area, killing him on the spot. The attackers managed to flee. The police rushed to the site and shifted the body to Bolan Medical College hospital. Later, the body was handed over to the heirs after post mortem.
The police have registered a case against the unknown accused and started efforts to trace and arrest them. No arrest was reported till filing of this report. Further probe was underway. Meanwhile, the unidentified armed men shot and injured two persons in Hazarganji area of the provincial capital on Monday. Police told that unknown gunmen riding bike opened fire at two men identified as Javed and Jahanzeb, seriously injuring them. The assailants managed to escape from the scene.
