Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has condoled the demise of renowned educationist, poet and writer professor Afaq Siddiqui. In a statement on Sunday, Qaim expressed profound grief on the death of Afaq Siddiqui and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
The Chief Minister lauded the services of late Siddiqui in the field of literature and poetry.
He said that by translating 'Shah Jo Risalo' in Urdu, Siddiqui introduced the philosophy and message of great Sufi poet Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai to the Urdu speaking community.
