As many as four persons were shot dead during last 24 hours in the city. As per details, one Imran, 35, owner of a puncture shop was shot dead by unidentified gunmen near Erum Shopping Centre at Nagan Chowrangi. The body of the deceased was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy. One Daar Muhammad, 30, was gunned down by unknown assailants near Mawach Goth. The body of the deceased was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for post-mortem.
In addition, a tortured body tied stuff in a gunny bag was recovered from Gulshan-e-Maymar. The deceased was identified as Shahzad, 30. According to the area police, the deceased was the resident of PIB Colony and visited Gulshan-e-Maymar to meet his relatives. Meanwhile, another tortured body stuff in a gunny bag was found from the drain of 'Teen Hatti'. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained till filing of the report.
