ISLAMABAD: The spokesman to the Chairman Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar has said that Imran Khan's days in the government are numbered.
"The sources from power corridors are also indicating that it is a figment of imagination of Imran Khan and his team that they have left five months. The reality is that the days of this government and Imran Khan are numbered. Soon the people will hear good news of getting rid of a complete failure Imran Khan," he said.
Senator Khokhar said that the team members of this incapable government are fighting with each other for the last two years because there are many aspirants of prime minister-ship in his cabinet.
They think that if a "messed up" individual like Imran Khan can be a prime minister, then why not they could become one, Khokhar said.
This "puppet government" is going to fall under its own weight and the time has come, he claimed. In a statement issued on Tuesday, Senator Khokhar said that the nation did not want to see such "incompetent and incapable" government in power.
He said that the country, which was self-sufficient in wheat production, was today importing wheat.
"Imran Khan's government has destroyed every sector in the country and the people are sick and tired of this government, and do not want to see this government in power anymore. The politics, journalism, economy, judiciary and decency have been destroyed in the country," he concluded.
