Punjab's coronavirus testing capacity stands at 17000 now: Musarrat Cheema

Punjab Spokesperson Musarrat Cheema announced on Wednesday that the province's coronavirus testing capacity stands at 17000 now.
In a tweet, she said that in the past 24 hours, more than 10000 people were tested for coronavirus in which 1,228 people were infected with the novel virus. So far, Cheema said, Punjab has conducted more than 443,000 tests.
Punjab reports highest number of coronavirus deaths
Punjab has reported 69,536 cases. It also reported 21 more deaths due to coronavirus. "Death toll in Punjab has jumped to 1516," she said. Total recoveries has increased to 19935 in the province.
