LAHORE: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that Opposition should not have unrealistic expectations, the Government, Prime Minister and Parliament would complete tenure till 2023.
He said this in a meeting with senior Punjab minister Abdul Aleem Khan, Minister Housing Mian Mahmood Ur Rasheed, and others at Governor House Lahore on Thursday.
During the meeting, political affairs, Covid-19 strategy and governance issues were discussed. The Governor Punjab Sarwar on the occasion said that government and PTI is united under Prime Minister Imran Khan, the people have given us mandate of five years and we will complete our tenure. When PTI came to power, Pakistan was about to bankrupt, but we averted the crisis due to our better financial management and ample economic policies, he claimed and added that they focused on import substituted economic growth, reducing current account deficit and averting balance of payment crisis.
