PM appeals nation to celebrate Eid ul Azha with simplicity, says carelessness will lead to spike in cases

Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated on Thursday Isolation Hospital and Infectious Treatment Center in Islamabad.
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Planning Minister Asad Umar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz, Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
The hospital established in record 40 days has 250-beds. It has been established at a cost of about 980 million rupees. It will treat coronavirus patients along with other infectious diseases.
Speaking to the media, the PM said the virus spreads quickly where there is a huge gathering. He said due to the negligence of the people and their failure to follow the SOPs during Eid ul Fitr, cases surged in Pakistan.
He said due to this, hospitals were under a lot of burden and pressure. He urged the nation to celebrate Eid ul Azha following all SOPs or else Pakistan will see another increase in the cases.
