District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Lahore Noor-ul-Amin Mengal on Saturday appointed District Officer (Monitoring) Amin Akbar Chopra as focal person for monitoring Ramzan Bazaars, which are being organised in the Holy month of Ramzan.
The DCO Lahore said 26 Ramzan Bazaars are being set up in Lahore for ensuring the supply of quality food items, vegetables and fruits at low prices and these Ramzan Bazaars will start operating from July 15. "In every Ramzan Bazaar an in-charge officer will be appointed who will be responsible for the arrangements of his concerned Ramzan Bazaar. Central control room will be set up at DCO Office for monitoring them where reports regarding its arrangements will be submitted on daily basis. These reports will be reviewed and action will be taken in the light of reports," he added.
