ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said despite the limited resources, the government's timely measures in the fight against Covid-19 have contained its further spread.
The foreign minister stated this, while talking to the Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar, who called on him here at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
They discussed the overall situation of Covid-19 and the measures undertaken to prevent the virus from further spread.
Qureshi said implementation on safety guidelines would have to be ensured to contain the spread of Covid-19.
On the occasion, the Punjab governor briefed the foreign minister about proposed special safety arrangements to be made in Punjab on the occasion of Eidul Azha in view of the pandemic.
The Punjab governor also congratulated the foreign minister on his complete recovery from Covid-19 who was earlier tested positive on July 3rd.
