ISLAMABAD: The Covid-19 positive cases rate on Monday remained at 1.8 percent as only 23 people were tested positive out of 1,215 run on high-risk people in the federal capital. According to official data, the total number of coronavirus cases in the capital city rose to 14,599, of which 11,836 patients have completely recovered since the outbreak of deadly virus.

The total number of active cases in the city is 2,763, and the number of deaths is 159, the data says. It says that out of 23 cases reported from various parts of the city, 17 are male and six are female.

The administration has also warned that the Covid-19 still exists, and people need to strictly following standard operating procedures (SOPs) devised for controlling the spread of the coronavirus. The data says that the new cases reported on July 19 were 72, on July 18, 50, and on July 17, 52, on July 16, 87, July 15, 113, on July 14, 94, on July 13, 85, on July 12, 96, on July 11, 98, on July 10, 98, on July 9, 81, on July 8, 93, July 7, 63, July 6, 85, on July 5, 117, on July 4, 97, on July 3, 113, on July 2 ,170, on July 1, 137, on June 30, 132, on June 29, 248, on June 28, 189, on June 27, 255, on June 26, 271, on June 25, 227, on June 24, 264, on June 23, 307, June 22, 250, on June 21, 383, on June 20, 338, on June 19, 304, on June 18, 395, on June 17, 385, and on June 16, 288.
