More than 14,984 candidates from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan appeared for admission in University of Engineering & Technology for academic session 2012-13 here on Sunday. The Entry test held under auspicious of Education Testing & Evaluation Agency (ETEA) at Colonel Sher Khan Shaheed (Army) Stadium, Peshawar and Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad simultaneously.
The results of the test will be announced in next 36 hours, and available on ETEA website (www.etea.edu.pk), and UET website (www.nwfpuet.edu.pk), as well as the main notice board of Engineering University's Peshawar Campus.
At Peshawar Centre, a total of 13,347 candidates appeared in the test with 12,975 candidates for admission in engineering disciplines and 372 for Computer Science group.
At Abbottabad Centre, total 1,637 candidates appeared, out of which 1593 candidates appeared for engineering groups whereas 44 candidates for the computer science group. The vice chancellor Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani, who was present on the occasion, expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements for the holding the Entrance Test.
