He said that its good omen on the part of Imran Khan who expressed the " firm commitment of Pakistan for deepening fraternal relations, underscoring the importance of ties with Bangladesh on the basis of mutual respect, trust and sovereign equality besides highlighting the significance of regular bilateral contacts and people to people exchanges".

Iftikhar Ali Malik who remained associated with SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry for last three decades observed that Imran Khan reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) and underlined the importance of both countries working for enhanced regional cooperation for sustainable peace and prosperity.

He said its another feather in the cap that a week ago Imran Khan after acceding to the request of Afghan government, allowed Afghan export transit trade through Wagah boarder to India that reflects Pakistan goodwill gestures shown to Afghanistan. He said that first time Afghan exports were shipped from Gwadar Port will further strength the bilateral trade between two brotherly Muslim states.
