ISLAMABAD: The number of confirmed coronavirus cases has significantly declined in the capital city as only 19 tested positive on Thursday out of 2,404 tests run in high-risk areas of the city. According to official data, the total of confirmed Covid-19 cases rose to 15,141 after 19 new cases emerged in the city.
Out of 15,141 cases, 12,833 people have completely recovered and 167 have died since the outbreak of the coronavirus. As per the official data, so far 84.75 percent patients have completely recovered and the number of active cases in the city is 2,308.
Out of 19 cases, three were reported from the IHITC, two each from Sector I-8, Golra Sharif, Sector G-10, Sector F-11, and Bhara Kahu, one each case from Sector G-7, Sector F-8, Sector E-11, DHA-II, Chak Shehzad, and Alipur Farash.
