ISLAMABAD: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in its meeting held on Monday discussed about spending Rs 110 million by the gas companies with regard to refreshments and club memberships, which was wrongly attributed to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
The oil and gas regulator stated that there was no facility of club membership in the OGRA nor it was allowed.
In OGRA, tea is served to the distinguished guests and licensees visiting OGRA within the limits of austerity.
The PAC discussed the mandate of Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP) to conduct audit of the OGRA. Rana Tanveer Hussain chaired the meeting of the PAC.
