FIA confirms news of sexually assaulted kitten is fake

Assistant Director, Cybercrime wing of FIA Asif Iqbal Chaudhry has confirmed that the kitten rape story is fake and said that there is no evidence of the misconduct.
Last month, a post was shared by animal rescue group JFK Animal Rescue and Shelter which said that a 15-year-old teenage boy along with his cousins and friends had repeatedly raped a kitten in Lahore.
The animal rescue group further said that the kitten could not eat, sleep, or walk due to the trauma. Pictures and the story of the teenager sexually assaulting the kitten as widely shared on social media. However, after investigation, it has been revealed that the entire story was fake.
Dr. Khalil Mohammad who performed medical check-up and treatment of the kitten said that the kitten was not raped and it was not possible. He said the animal had no evidence of abuse.
The shelter group too has said that the story was not initiated by them, rather they had just shared an already published post. The group said they had merely asked the authorities to look into the matter.
They said they will help the FIA in their investigation and will also provide them details of Uzma Khan and Haider Ali, who had first published the news of the kitten.
