LAHORE: The Punjab Skill Development Authority (PSDA) has approved six online courses to produce skilled workforce in view of the coop with the Covid-19. A meeting presided over by Punjab Minister Trade and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal reviewed affairs pertaining to technical training and accorded approved to six online courses including mobile repairing, auto mechanic, auto-cad civil, beautification and makeup.

The Minister said that technical institutions have been brought under one umbrella to make the Punjab Skill Development Authority more effective. He stressed the need for planning for producing quality workforce as per market demand for the small & medium industries and big industries.

He directed the PSAD to contact Pakistan embassies abroad and plan export of skilled workers. Chairman Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Ali Salman Siddique and other officers concerned also attended the meeting.
