ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)'s "Quaid for Life" and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari have agreed to convene an All Parties Conference (APC) of opposition parties soon, it is learnt.
According to the sources, in a telephonic conversation between Nawaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto, both leaders agreed to work together to strengthen democracy in the country.
The sources said that during the conversation, Nawaz Sharif also inquired about the well-being of former president Asif Ali Zardari.
They said that the former prime minister had given assurance to Bilawal Bhutto that he would oppose any unconstitutional move against the Sindh government.
They said that both the leaders also agreed to soon convene an APC of opposition parties. They said that Nawaz Sharif assured the PPP chairman that all decisions taken in the APC would be fully implemented.
