ISLAMABAD: As many as 28 confirmed cases of the Covid-19 were reported in the capital city on Friday against 13 cases on Thursday. According to the district health department officials, during the last 24 hours, 3,895 tests were conducted in the city.
After emergence of 28 new cases, the total number of coronavirus cases in the city has surged to 15,453. Out of the total cases, 14,101 people have completely recovered, and 175 have died since the outbreak of the virus.
It says that there are 150 active cases in Sector G-8, 80 in Sector I-8, 77 in Lohi Bher, 63 in Sector G-9, 57 in Sector G-6, 48 in Sector G-10, 47 in Bhara Kahu, 46 in Sector I-10, 41 in Tarlai, 39 in Sector G-11, 38 in Sector F-11, 37 in Sohan, 31 in Sector F-8, 30 in Sector F-6, 28 in Sector F-11, 25 in Sector F-7, 21 in Sector G-13, 19 in Sector I-9, 18 in Chak Shehzad, 17 in Sector G-15, 16 in Kurri, 15 each in Ali Pur, Sector F-10 and G-5, 13 in Sector E-9, 12 in Koral, and 10 in Sector F-5.
