ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has urged chief justice of Pakistan to take notice of the statement of Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar for allegedly inciting people to kill political opponents. The PPP Central Information Secretary, Dr Nafisa Shah, and Deputy Information Secretary Palwasha Khan expressed these views in a news conference on Tuesday. The PPP Media Chief, Nazir Dhoki, was also present on the occasion.
They said that this year unprecedented rainfall had disturbed Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and other cities. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) should treat every area equally. They said that the PPP had done its work regarding all parties' conference and the ball was in Shahbaz Sharif's court because he was the opposition leader and should decide he wanted to call the All Parties Conference (APC) or not.
Dr Nafisa Shah said that using container language, Prime Minister Imran Khan had contaminated political environment of the country. She said that every field was taking its last breath. She said that the aviation minister destroyed the Pakistan International Airlines just by one irresponsible statement.
She said that just one statement of foreign minister annoyed Pakistani friends. She said that the prime minister sent Nawaz Sharif abroad and was now making hue and cry and says that he will not give him NRO. "There is no law in the country. One federal minister is openly inciting people of killing political opponents. One Niazi had surrendered in 1971 and another has surrendered Kashmir," the PPP information secretary was of the view.
Palwasha Khan said, "These people are like "sundis", and the "agriculture department" should get rid of them". "The government has taken loan of 11 billion dollars. People are troubled by price hike and unemployment, and Imran Khan says that he has 400 million dollars. The growth rate is in negative for the first time in the history of Pakistan," she said.
