Sarfaraz counters criticism over refusal to play third England T20I
Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has once again responded to criticism over refusal to take the field in Twenty20 International (T20I) against England.
Earlier, it was reported that the 33-year-old was reluctant to play the game, after staying on the bench for the entire tour, citing deep reservations.
However, after being persuaded by head coach-cum-chief selector, Misbahul Haq, captain Babar Azam and batting coach Younis Khan, the Karachi native agreed to step onto the field with the side.
When a local journalist voiced his opinion on the matter while criticising the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for their double-standards, Sarfaraz responded with a tweet which indicated that he is still motivated to play cricket despite facing criticism.
