ISLAMABAD: Communist Party of Pakistan Secretary General Comrade Imdad Qazi visited Islamabad and met with party comrades. A meeting was organized at the National Press Club in this regard. Comrade Imdad Qazi was accompanied by Prof. Mir Munawar Talpur. Senior journalist Sardar Shiraz Khan, newly elected Vice President of Nasir Abbas Press Club Dr. Sadia Kamal Farhat was also present in the meeting.

Imdad Qazi, Secretary General of the Communist Party of Pakistan, said that the government wanted to divert attention from the real problems of the people by creating non-issues. The basic needs and services sectors have been taken over.

He said that it is the responsibility of the state to provide education and treatment facilities to the people but the state has failed to provide these facilities. He said that education has become a business in Pakistan. He said that heavy fees are being charged in private educational institutions and electricity prices are constantly rising.

Imdad Qazi said that the lives of the people are in miserable condition due to price hike in the country. Whenever the economic and social crisis in a society intensifies immensely, the main sign of it is that the contradictions of the ruling classes and the mutual clashes intensify, he said. Not only does the state of Pakistan's economy and society suffer, but the global crisis of capitalism is also a major cause of this chaos, he said.
