13 more educational institutions closed: NCOC
- So far 35 educational institutions have been closed in the last three days.
The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) announced on Friday that 13 more educational institutions have been sealed for their failure to follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) laid down by the government.
In a statement today, the NCOC said that in the last 24 hours, 10 educational institutions were shut down in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and three in Sindh for violating SOPs.
IBA suspends classes after COVID-19 cases emerge
Since the reopening of educational institutions across Pakistan on September 15, 35 of them have been closed for negligence in following the SOPs. On Thursday, the NCOC said 22 institutes were sealed for non-compliance of health guidelines and protocols and disease prevalence.
