(Karachi) Two soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom after ceasefire violation by Indian troops along the Line of Control (LOC) in the Dewa Sector.

According to Pakistan Army’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian Army soldiers resorted to shelling and firing in Dewa Sector. Pakistan Army responded in a befitting manner and damaged Indian posts.

During exchange of fire, 29-year-old Sepoy Noor ul Hassan, and Sepoy Waseem Ali, 25 years, embraced martyrdom, the ISPR added.

ISPR stated that there have been 2333 ceasefire violations by India troops in 2020.

Indian forces have continuously been targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars and automatic weapons along the LoC and Working Boundary.

The Foreign Office summoned senior Indian diplomat several times to register protest over continuous ceasefire violations by India along the Line of Control but India continues to target civilian population.

The FO had condemned the deplorable targeting of innocent civilians by the Indian occupation forces and stated that ceasefire violations are against all established humanitarian norms and professional military conduct.
