LAHROE: On the direction of Secretary Information Technology and Telecommunication Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, Virtual University has introduced subsidized Entry & Associate Level Cisco courses. Offered courses are Cyber Security Essentials, Cyber Ops Associate and CCNA V7.
Initially these courses are offered in 7 cities of Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta and Peshawar. Benefits by completing these courses included: A Networking Academy digital badge, In-Person lab practice on campus, a Cisco Netacad Globally accepted Course Completion Certificate. Rector, Virtual University Naeem Tariq said "This initiative reflects the Virtual University's commitment to enrich the economy with an additional qualified workforce of youngsters educated on European professional standards to learn special skill sets.
