Punjab Mango Festival 2012 is being organised by the Punjab Agriculture Department in collaboration with Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) on Sunday (today) at Islamabad.
Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, will inaugurate the festival. According to spokesman of Punjab Agriculture Department foreign diplomats and commercial councillors of more than 30 countries along with a large number of mango growers, processors, exporters and representatives of local and foreign media will participate in the festival.
The spokesman has said that this mango festival is being organised with the objective to increase awareness about different mango varieties produced in Punjab particularly among foreign diplomats, international community and create a networking opportunity for local producers, exporters and international buyers. The festival will open for public from 12.30 pm to 6.00 pm.
