Senior politician Jam Madad Ali dies of coronavirus

(Karachi) Pakistan Peoples Party senior politician and MPA from Sanghar Jam Madad Ali died after being infected with coronavirus, ARY News reported on Friday.
Jam Madad, 57, had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Karachi for the past few weeks after being diagnosed with the deadly virus. He was shifted on a ventilator after his health condition deteriorated but could not survive.
The late politician was formerly affiliated to the Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) but later joined the PPP. He served as provincial minister and the chairman of the Sindh Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee.
