Homage paid to Mehdi Hassan

The Pearl Continental Hotel Rawalpindi paid rich tribute to the Ghazal Maestro Mehdi Hassan (Late) at its elegant "Marquee" here on Thursday. The musical evening attended by elites of the twin cities and music lovers along with many diplomats and celebrities.
The programme began with TWO dance performances by famous classical dancers Shaista, who performed with famous songs sung by "Mehdi Hassan (Late). This segment was followed by Zafar Mehdi, Saleem Kiyani, Saeed Mehdi, their Performances encored and applauded by the audience.
The GM Events Marketing Media & Communications Tahir Khan said our hotels, besides in hospitality business, is the hub of entertaining activities and seriously recognises the importance of culture and arts, and never neglects the legends' contributions in their respective fields.
