ISLAMABAD: A parliamentary body on Tuesday asked the Ministry of Law and Justice to submit before it, all amendments proposed in the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) 1898, during the previous regime. The sub-committee of the National Assembly Committee on Law and Justice met with Malik Muhammad Ehsan Ullah Tiwana in the chair. The sub-committee asked for the submission of all the reports made with respect to proposed amendments in the code of criminal procedure during the previous government till the next meeting.

The committee also asked the Minister of Interior to coordinate with the Ministry of Law and Justice regarding amendments in the CrPC.

The meeting was also attended by senior officials of the Ministry of Interior, and Law and Justice.
