WINNIPEG: ICE Canadian canola futures jumped on Tuesday to contract highs, following soyabeans up after a US government report predicted tighter crop supplies.
US soyabean and corn stocks in September will be smaller than previously forecast due to a reduced estimate of last fall’s harvest, the US Department of Agriculture said.
Canola prices have surged since the beginning of December on strong global oilseed demand and high Canadian crush margins.
