Federal Advisor for Interior Rehman Malik on Monday called on Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah at Chief Minister House. The Chief Minister Sindh congratulated Rehman Malik on his re-election as Senator un-opposed and termed it success of Pakistan People's Party, which is serving the people under the vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and policies of Co-Chairman PPP and President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.
He said that the un-opposed success of Rehman Malik is remarkable and termed it success of party programme and policies. He said that almost all parties in Sindh Assembly have co-operated. Syed Qaim Ali Shah added that Rehman Malik has extended his services for the party and his candidature was decision of Co-chairman of PPP.
The chief minister also lauded the role of Rehman Malik with regard to law and order of Sindh particularly in Karachi. He said that his support for maintenance of peace in Karachi is always commendable. He said that the people's party will continue its services to people without any hesitation and hindrance. Rehman Malik expressed his thanks to President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Members of Provincial Assembly of Sindh, and all coalition parties of government and office-bearers and workers of the party.
He said that Pakistan People's Party is following its manifesto and political vision and polices of President Asif Ali Zardari that he has been selected on Senate seat, for which he is thankful to President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, all MPA's coalition parties and ever those who are against the government, and also thankful to workers of the party. Rehman Malik said that it is only due to aspects of polices of Peoples Party, and all coalition partners will work for the welfare and progress of the country.
He expressed his firm belief that he will work for the policies of the party under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari. Rehman Malik also thanked the efforts of Senater Islamuddin Shaikh during Senate Election, who assisted in resolving many stages during election Malik whole heartedly thanked all those who had helped and extended un conditional support to him.
He pledged that he will devote his life for following the political line and programme of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, and will give priority to the problems of people. Lauding the policies of President Asif Ali Zardari, Rehman Malik said that he will discharge duties as per abilities and efficiency for furtherance of programme of PPP.--PR
