Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders lashed out at Deputy Prime Minister and PML-Q leader Pervaiz Elahi for criticizing their leadership including Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Sunday.
In a statement issue here, provincial law Minister Rana Sanaullah said, "time server politicians like Ch Pervaiz Elahi have no right to represent poor masses as they joined hands with thieves and dacoits only for the sake of power.
"If Elahi has interest of poor people at heart, he should raise his voice against the worst load-shedding. Elahi is clamouring over Rs. 2. 5 billion Ramazan package of the Federal government for the whole country whereas the Punjab government has given a special package of Rs. 4 billion for providing essential items to the masses at subsidised rates at Ramazan bazaars," he added. Rana said under this package, Ramazan Bazaars have been established throughout the province whereas Iftar Dastarkhwan programme has been started. People have given the title of Khadim-e-Aala to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif whereas Chaudhry brothers are known for their loot and plunder, Rana alleged. T
In another statement Senator Pervesz Rashid said only those persons should get advice from Deputy Prime Minister who are interested in robbing the Bank of Punjab or misappropriating millions of rupees of NLCL. He claimed that Elahi has brought his political career to an end by joining hands with Zardari in the last year of his rule.
Meanwhile, another PML-N leader Kh. Muhammad Asif said Shahbaz Sharif was brought into power by people of Punjab. Zardari had snatched power from Sharif with the help of Dogar court but independent judiciary by giving historic verdict against this robbery on the mandate of people of Punjab humiliated Zardari league.
